Set in the 1950s, this delightful debut novel by Cheryl Adam tells the story of Lillian, as she moves to the coastal town of Eden, NSW with her husband and children, next door to Aunt Maggie. With wonderfully-drawn characters, this authentic picture of Australian rural life shows the difficult realities of women’s lives at that time, while also celebrating family and friendship. Poet and writer Kristin Henry will launch the book.
