Bespoken brings together Word is Out’s favourite writers and a whole new crew with readings from new work and works in progress.

The inaugural night features multi award-winning novelist Andrea Goldsmith, author of 'Reunion' and 'The Prosperous Thief'; Lara Fergus, winner of the 2012 Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction and Finalist for the 2012 Lamda Literary Award for lesbian fiction, reading from her book 'My Sister Chaos'; winner of the 2012 Midsumma Word Slam, Charles Mercovich; and young spoken word artist Moth.
