Tongues in Flight: Unravelling Mother Stories and Convent Mysteries
![]() Saturday 23rd June , 2pm Francesca Rendle-Short author of Bite Your Tongue and Patricia Sykes author of The Abbotsford Mysteries will be in conversation at the Glen Eira Storytelling Festival. They will read from their latest works and share their experiences of finding their storytelling voices through poetry and fiction, interspersed with memoir. They will discuss how their childhoods, especially the absence and presence of mothers, played such a determining role in their lives. This promises to be a memorable event from two outstanding writers and storytellers.
