Manning Clark House, Forrest, Canberra Wine and Nibbles Talk - Lizz Murphy - Poetry Reading Tuesday, March 20, 2012 - 7:30pm - 9:30pm Lizz Murphy has read her poetry in cafes and courthouses, fetes and festivals, libraries and lounges, schools and sculleries. She has published eleven books including six volumes of poetry. Poetry titles include Six Hundred Dollars (PressPress 2010), Walk the Wildly (Picaro), Stop Your Cryin (Island) and Two Lips Went Shopping (Spinifex). A collection of micro poems titled Miniatures will be released by PressPress mid-2012. In 2006 and 2007 she travelled to the Calcutta Book Fair as part of the Australia-India Poetry Exchange. She was the 1998 ACT Creative Arts Fellow for Literature. Lizz is currently coordinating Poetry: The Indelible Stencil a regional poetry and public art project, is interested in art and text and has worked in regional arts development and publishing.
