Biography
Carol Bacchi

With a PhD in History from McGill University Carol Bacchi is Professor Emerita of Politics at the University of Adelaide. She writes primarily in the fields of  feminist  political theory and public policy and has produced a memoir of her son’s feeding disorder as an infant (Fear of Food). Recent books include:

  • Mainstreaming Politics: Gendering Practices and Feminist Theory (with Joan Eveline) (2010) (available as a free download from University of Adelaide Press website). 
  • Analysing Policy: What’s the problem represented to be? (Pearson Education 2009)
  • Women, Policy and Politics: the  construction of policy problems (Sage 1999).
