Biography

Lesley Thomson was born in 1958 and raised in Hammersmith, West London. She graduated from Brighton Polytechnic in 1981, and also has an MA in English Literature from the University of Sussex. Over the years she worked a number of memorable jobs in order to support her writing habit, and the industries included real estate, factory work, retail and car sales.  To date, she is the author of three books, and is currently working on her next novel. 

A resident of Lewes, East Sussex, her publications include the crime thriller Seven Miles From Sydney, and the crime-mystery novel A Kind of Vanishing. She is also co-author, with Sue Johnson, of Hold on to the Messy Times. A chapter from A Kind of Vanishing recently appeared in The Brighton Book anthology.
