Biography
Barbara Lazarus was Associate Provost for academic affairs at Carnegie Mellon University. Winner of Carnegie Mellon's Doherty Prize, Barbara Lazarus touched the lives of hundreds of students and staff through her efforts to give women and minorities increased access to non-traditional occupations.
Fanny M. Cheung PhD (Minnesota) is Professor and Director of the Gender Research Centre, which established the Gender Research Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1985.

Lucia Pavia Ticzon was former Chair of the Board for the Global Fund for Women. She is co-founder of the Women’s Resource and Research Centre at Miriam College Foundation, Quezon City, Philippines.
Malavika Karlekar is the project director of the Centre for Women's Development Studies, Delhi.

Yasuko Muramatsu is a development economist at the Tokyo Woman's Christian University.

Manorama Barnabas has taught extensively in India and the US in Philosophy and Women's studies. She was the Executive Associate for Women's Concerns of the United Board for Christian Higher Education (Asia, New York) from 1987-91.
